You have to let go of security in order to choose a life that feels authentic.

One can honor a life – and still choose a new one.

For many years I worked as a teacher – with heart, responsibility, and dedication. I loved teaching. And at the same time, I lived beyond my limits for a long time: growing exhaustion, self-doubt, hardly any room for real rest. The school system demanded a lot – and for a long time I believed I had to give more and more to be good enough. This resulted in a life that seemed secure from the outside, but felt increasingly confined on the inside.

The sudden death of my father – also a teacher, shortly before his retirement – ​​was a profound loss. It made me painfully aware that life cannot be postponed and that external security is no substitute for inner truth.

In August 2024, I made a clear decision. I left not only my job behind, but also my secure civil servant status. I consciously chose authenticity over security and a life that feels truly alive.

I let go of almost everything material. My life suddenly fit into a few moving boxes.

On November 1st, 2024, the journey of a lifetime began. It led me to Australia, where I improved my English and reconnected openly with the world.

In Bali I completed my Vinyasa yoga training and found a new connection to myself through movement and breath.

Panama became a turning point. I was teaching yoga in a remote eco-hotel in the jungle. In this seclusion, the real journey to myself began. I learned to be still, to listen, and to be honest with myself.

Costa Rica finally became my place of arrival – not just geographically, but as a profound feeling, a way of life. The powerful nature, the wildlife, and the open-hearted people profoundly shaped me and changed my perception. Here, I expanded my practice through Yin Yoga training and learned about alternative healing methods. It was at this deep level that I encountered SAAMA® energy work – and I knew immediately: This is my calling.

Today I primarily work online from Costa Rica, supporting people with SAAMA® and with digital services related to my work.

Everything I share stems from my own experience and a deep desire to encourage others:

Change is always possible. Sometimes it begins quietly – in small everyday decisions, in an honest pause, in the courage to listen to oneself.

And sometimes it's bigger. Like in my case. Then you get to rearrange your whole life and follow what truly feels right.

No matter what the change is – the journey begins the moment we listen to our heart and follow what makes us feel alive.
